Visit to Cramond Island

The group was joined by long-term collaborator Katya from UrFU and new group member Rui Apóstolo. We decided to make the most of the warm(ish) Scottish Summer in the halycon July days by visiting Cramond and its Island on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The group was experimenting with a new tonic water, that Josh had imported freshly from South America with Scottish Rock Rose Gin from Caithness. Once again we forgot the knife so were reduced to hacking away at an orange with Dr Camp's keys, which made for a delicious garnish. Katya, Julien, Dr Michael and Rui braved the tides and ventured across the water to the Island, while Dr Camp and Josh scouted out the local pub. We were impressed by the number of Spanish teenagers visiting the area.

After a few of Sir Samuel Smith's finest, darkness drew in and we travelled back to Edinburgh
